Als stuntdubbel van Daniel Radcliffe in de Harry Potter-films is het werk van David Holmes wereldwijd door miljoenen mensen gezien. Tragisch genoeg maakte een ongeval op de set een einde aan wat David ‘de beste baan ter wereld’ noemt, waardoor hij verlamd raakte en in een rolstoel terechtkwam. Net als het personage op het scherm dat hij tot leven heeft helpen brengen, is David vastbesloten om door te gaan met het zoeken naar avontuur en het leven ten volle te leven, ondanks toenemende obstakels.
Nee, helaas is David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
