Een jong meisje houdt vol dat een kwaadaardige entiteit zich met haar voedt. Randall Harris is haar gekwelde vader, die wanhopig worstelt om zijn dochter te beschermen. Hij roept de hulp in van Cynthia Winstone, een helderziende therapeute die haar eigen persoonlijke demonen onder ogen moet zien om het meisje te redden voordat ze volledig wordt weggenomen.
