Vijftien jaar geleden sloot Kim’s Video, een eigenzinnige New Yorkse videotheek, de deuren. De eigenaar was de Zuid-Koreaanse migrant Yongman Kim, aka 'Mr. Kim’. De collectie van 55.000 tapes en dvd’s ging niet naar een museum, maar naar een dorpje in Sicilië. De documentaire “Kim’s Video” is niet alleen een eerbetoon aan de videotheek, maar ook een heistfilm.
Nee, helaas is Kim's Video nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
