Een dikke advocaat rijdt een zigeunervrouw aan, maar wordt, mede door zijn contacten, vrijgesproken van alle blaam. Een zigeuner spreekt uit wraak een vloek over de betrokkenen uit. De advocaat verliest plots kilo's per dag. In het begin een godsgeschenk, maar er komt geen einde aan. De advocaat moet de zigeuner opsporen, om de vloek ongedaan te maken voor het te laat is.
