Anthony en Rosemary zijn geliefden wier families het oneens zijn over het stuk land tussen hun boerderijen. Anthony wordt voortdurend door zijn vader gekleineerd en het wordt erger wanneer deze ermee dreigt de boerderij aan Anthony's Amerikaanse neef Adam na te laten. Gelukkig is er Rosemary bij wie hij steun vindt. Maar dan staat Adam voor zijn deur.
